What now?
Following Jesus is not the end of the story. It is the beginning of a new life with Him.
Tell someone
Tell a Christian you trust that you have decided to follow Jesus. You were never meant to do this alone.
Start reading the Bible
A great place to begin is the Gospel of John. Read a little each day and ask: “What does this show me about Jesus?”
Talk to God every day
Prayer does not need to be complicated. Thank Him. Ask for help. Tell Him what you are worried about. Ask Him to guide you.
Find a good church
Look for a church that teaches the Bible, follows Jesus, and helps people grow in faith.
Be baptized
Jesus taught His followers to be baptized. Talk with a pastor or church leader about what baptism means and when you should take that step.
Keep following
You will still have questions, struggles, and mistakes. Keep turning back to Jesus and learning to live His way.
You do not have to understand everything today.
Take the next step. Then the next one. God is patient, and He will keep teaching you as you follow Him.
